Hello, my name is Karen Carter-Smith. I am married to a wonderful man and have 9 beautiful children, 6 step and 3 of our own(one boy-2 girls) I love my family and life itself! I am a Middle School art teacher and have taught art for about 19 years. I am also an artist; however, I am striving to become a stay at home mother. I wish that I was able to have been there for our son but life was different then. As we grow older, we grow wiser and turn into our mothers, OH NO!!!! LOL, I was blessed with a wonderful mother, praise God!

I started LilZoe  after my two lovely daughters, (Lilly & Zoe ) It is my dream to be home for them, nurture, teach and love them into God Loving, young women. Nowadays, that is a challenging task; therefore, I want to stay at home and be that model for them. I feel that there is no greater accomplishment than to be a Christian! I also feel there is no greater mission than spreading God’s Love and raising your children. I tip my hat off to all those stay at home moms!!! What an important, exhausting job you have! I never wanted to be a stay at home mom, actually when younger frowned upon my mother for making that choice. Now, it is all that I want to be! With your purchase, it helps me come one step closer to making that dream a reality. Thank-you!!!!

Why LilZoe

People ask what I do, my hobbies? Well besides art, reading , going to church, and being a soccer mom to my talented soccer player son, my favorite all time hobby is to dress my girls, shop for my girls and just go over the top in everything that may make them feel absolutely special and loved; make them feel like the princess that I never felt like when I was little but always wanted to be, remembering to teach them that it is what’s in the heart that truly matters and they are just fortunate to have what they do, but to never judge or think they are somehow superior to anyone.

So LilZoe came about because of my addiction to accessorizing my daughters, accessorizing my “Live Barbie Dolls” knowing that I could make the perfect hair accessories because I knew what I wanted. They were my inspiration so my accessories are made with lots of love. One thing led to another when my business grew so I expanded the products, gathered me a team of gals.

I try marking my prices  reasonable because I have this motto, “Every Girl Should Feel Like A Princess!” not just the ones that can afford it. I want every girl to feel special!

I need you to help me make that happen! When you purchase from me, I always include an extra flower clip attatched to an Angel Card. The free flower is to give to a special little girl that might not feel like the wonderful angel that God made her to be. With that flower, I hope that for just one second, she feels special and beautiful, like a princess. I say pass it forward…give to others…it truly will come back to you! Then I always enclose extras in my packages, love to GIVE, it is just a small token of my appreciation!

I love this new found adventure and all the wonderful , beautiful people that I meet! It is great!! Thanks to all those who are sooo very friendly and kind. You mean alot to me and add something special to my world! It’s funny how close you can get to people that you just met and feel like you have known them for a life-time.
